BCROF Donates Giant Grinding Machines To Widows, Home For Religious Retreat

At Anambra on the 8th February 2020: BCROF Donated 10 Giant Grinding Machines to Empower Benefiting Widows Generate extra incomes, and a Beautiful Home For Religious Retreat.

Our Foundation (Barr. Chika Rita Okwuosah Foundation – BCROF), has donated 10 giant grinding machines to ten widows in Ogbaru community of Anambra States in furtherance of our mission to empower women for greater productivity.

In the same vein, BCROF also built and equipped a religious retreat home with modern day furniture for convenience of men of God willing to visit Ogbaru for quiet time with God.

The father of Chika and Chairman Board of Trustee , BCROF while handing over the management of the home to the Parish Priest of St Patrick’s Catholic Church (Rev Fr Phillip Nwafor) said Foundation was empowering 10 widows selected from different Ogbaru communities with giant grinding machines to enable them generate extra incomes to take care of their respective families’ basic needs.

 

“I wish to state here that all the empowerment programs of BCROF since its establishment have been funded by donations from patrons, friends and members of the Foundation.”

“Your kind contribution will help the Foundation to continue to implement programmes that will economically empower women and girls in our communities. “

Chairman of the occasion and member representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency (Anambra State) in the House of Representatives,Prince Chukwuka Onyema Wilfred commended the family of Okwuosah for all what they been able to achieve through the foundation.

Prince Onyema recalled how the demise of Chika affected the Ogbaru community last year.

“A year ago, the Day turned dark in the entire Ogbaru especially in Sir & Lady Dozie and Nonye Okwuosah’s family when the stormy wind became still and the flowing river froze in shock of the laying to eternal rest a young promising daughter of ours, Barr. Chika Rita Okwuosah. Our eyes were swollen and ceaseless of flowing tears. Who then could console us?”

Also speaking a family friend , Chief Jerry Okorodudu who prayed God Almighty to give the Okwuosah’s strength and courage to pilot the endowment fund to the end of time as well as to the eternal Glory of God and to Glory of their dear daughter, Chika

“I lack words to express my pain and joy at this time, because it’s a paradox. Joy, that the memory of your daughter is finally written in the blazing letters of Gold in firmament of history. “

“Pain that her transition is irredeemable,”The holy writ says and, I’m consoled by it, that in all things give thanks.”

“Few can equal and none exceed the zeal and panache with which you have deployed love and energy to keep Chika in the heart of humanity forever.”he added.

The beneficiaries of the grinding machines are Mrs Florence Okei: Mrs Cecelia Aghaeze’; Mrs Nkeiru Obi; Mrs Therese N. Ndubuokwu; Mrs Ifeoma Eju; Mrs Josephine Okwuanyike; Mrs Josephine Nwanji; Mrs Esther Adibeli Omegbu; Mrs Esther Ughanze and Mrs Patricia Ajansi.
