VISION:
Our vision is to passionately be a voice, advocate and support in advancing the health and well-being of girls and women across Nigeria, and around the world.
MISSION:
Focusing on our vision, we shall provide assistance to brain tumor and other medically challenged victims, empower female start-up entrepreneurs or artisans in beauty and fashion design, and also promote the education and capacity-building training of girls and women to enable them unleash their potentials and fulfill personal aspirations.
OBJECTIVES:
BCROF was established, as a non-governmental, not for profit organization with CAC /11/NO 129743, to immortalize and fulfil late Barr. Chika Rita Okwuosah’s aspiration to be a renowned fashion designer and demonstrated passion towards the social, educational and economic empowerment of women and girls.
Our objectives are:
- To support female start-ups in beauty and fashion design to develop the necessary skills and assist them access funding in order to establish and grow their own fashion businesses.
- To institute an Annual Award of Excellence for best female graduating student from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.
- To promote the rights of girls and women to quality education towards attainment of social and economic development.
- To advance the health and well-being of women and girls, as well as increase knowledge about their reproductive health, modes of early detection, access to treatment and patient’s right especially on terminal illness such as Brain Tumor, among others.
- To perform and offer all such other acts and humanitarian services, as may be deemed incidental to the attainment of our mainstream aims and objectives.
